A Cemetery Open Day is to be held at Caddonfoot Churchyard on Friday 23rd May 2014 between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm to provide an exciting and informative opportunity for the people of Caddonfoot, Clovenfords and surrounding communities to engage with officers of Scottish Borders Council regarding the future provision and maintenance of Caddonfoot Churchyard and New Cemetery.

The event will allow you the chance to raise questions and have those answered on site, and there will be a demonstration of the equipment which is used in the maintenance of cemeteries including machinery used for the excavation of graves.

The historical records and plans for Caddonfoot Churchyard and New Cemetery (by the village hall) will also be available to view inside the Church.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day at the Church and we hope to gather valuable feedback from those who attend about our service standards and areas for improvement in the future.
